19 year old Tom Swoon is rising up the EDM ranks quicker than a booking agent’s fee-scale. Opening for Avicci next month on the progressive house superstar’s very own World Tour; Tom Swoon has already laid his talented remixing fingers to Linkin Park and Nervo in the last few months alone — gaining tens of thousands of new fans in the process. In a time when new music is sacred, Tom Swoon has now whipped up an incredible remix of Ellie Goulding’s new release ‘Hanging On’.

Zeds Dead & Omar LinX have teamed up once again to bring us another insane EP titled “The Living Dead”. This is the second collaboration project from Zeds Dead & Omar LinX, the first being their Victor EP. Crank starts the EP out right with Omar LinX’s fresh vocals and Zeds Dead’s signature syths. Take A Chance has a really eerie and dark feel to it with some relaxing synths and of course Omar LinX’s vocals completely fit the track and really power up the track. The Living Dead has really sick and slow build-up that will slowly pull you in — and then it drops into a really… sloppy sound? I honestly wasn’t feeling this track that much, but to each his own. Cowboy starts out immediately with Omar LinX’s vocals and a really smooth guitar melody — and in an instant it turned into my favorite track off of the EP. Zeds Dead lays it down with an intense build-up and then drops into these crazy high pitched wobbles that I can’t help but to love.

Popeska is back with another insane original production. “You’ll Never Know” is an amazing blend of electro, glitch hop, and dubstep. He’s definitely one the biggest rising EDM producers right now, and he should be. After discovering him last year it was clear that he was very talented — he was pumping out track after track and each one was more superb than the last.

Today, i’ve got 3LAU’s “Dance Floor Filth v2″ mash-up album. It features some of my favorite artists, Krewella, Dada Life, Zedd, Knife Party, Kaskade, Skrillex, and Porter Robinson. This will likely close 3LAU’s mashup/bootleg stage of his career so he focus on his upcoming original progressive house releases — which kind of sucks because he produces some of the best mash-ups out there; however, i’m sure if he puts all of his focus into original productions they will just just as epic as his mash-ups.
