Today, I’ve got Minnesota‘s latest release, the ‘Astral Project’ EP. This 3 track EP combines atmospheric bass music with some ambient sounds and relaxing, powerful synths resulting in a very unique sound experience. ‘Relax’ starts out with a long, 2-minute intro that drops into Minnesota’s stagggering synths. ‘Stardust’ has a little more funk and glitch to it — it has an untypical wobbly melody with a energetic and dominant drop. ‘Astral Project’ is the most relaxing track on the EP. With a heavy bassline, astonishing long, drawn-out synths, and some momentous vocal samples — it will have you questioning reality and consciousness while sending chills up and down your spine.
